Man Shot On Through Street Identifies Henry Bennett As One Of Gunmen

A man who was shot at 3300 Through Street on June 19 has identified Henry Lee Bennett, 29, as one of the shooters.

Bennett was charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

The victim said he was cutting grass around 6:39 p.m. when a black SUV came up driven by "Henry." He said he walked to the passenger side of the vehicle and saw that the occupant was holding a gun. He said he went back to the driver's side and saw that "Henry" had his cell phone on speaker with an unknown person.

He said a white Nissan Altima came down the road and there was a series of shots. He said the shot that hit him in the leg came from "Henry" inside the black SUV.
