Chattanooga Man Decides Robbery Was Bad Idea; Calls Police From Circle K To Turn Himself In

Tuesday, January 14, 2020

Nicholas Harmon, 27, is facing aggravated robbery charges after police said he robbed a Circle K on Dallas Road. Police said the robber called police from the scene to turn himself in.

According to the police report, an employee said a white male made a purchase, and then waited until the cash register was open in order to begin the robbery. He allegedly told the employee, “I’ve got a gun, give me the money.” He then took $81 before leaving the scene.

Surveillance footage showed a man later identified as Harmon going into the store, waiting until the store empties out, going back in, and buying a pack of cigarettes. The footage then showed him demanding the money from the clerk, before running from the store and getting into a silver four-door sedan.

When police arrived, Harmon presented $51 on a table. His appearance matched that of the one in the video, and his birthday matched the date entered into the store’s system when he bought the cigarettes. The silver sedan was in the driveway.

Harmon was then transported to the Hamilton County Jail, and was charged with aggravated robbery.

A Lack Of Civility At The Women's Rally

The behavior of our local radical left women was abusive and uncalled for. The next Woman’s Rally and March should be lessons in common decency and civility towards other women. Interrupting an invited female speaker with displays of yelling and holding up disparaging signs is wrong. The women before me that broke the barriers in male-dominated professions would be embarrassed ... (click for more)
