Christine Moon
Christine L. Moon, 85, of Red Bank went home to be with her Lord on Thursday July 23, 2020.
She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her garden. Christine was also a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Moon, Sr., sons, Hon. Judge Bob Moon, and Mark Moon, father, Gus Mooney, mother, Alice Mae Mooney, sister, Doris Kirby, grandmother, Fannie Mae Barber and her aunt, Cassie Barber Trusley.
Left behind to cherish Christine’s memory are her daughter in law, Deborah Moon Grant, several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
A Celebration of Christine’s Life will be held in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 28, at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Bill Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 1:30 p.m.
She will be laid to rest in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens alongside her husband in a private committal service.
Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
