Charlotte Swain
Charlotte Ann Haggard Swain, 84, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020.
Charlotte was born in Chattanooga to the late Clarence and Clara Mae Haggard. She graduated from Kirkman High School. Charlotte retired from Memorial Hospital with over 20 years of service. She was a member of Hixson First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lamar, Harvey and Ronnie Haggard.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Lisa Swain, Johnny Swain, Creta (Charles) Parent, and Lori (Mike) Atkins; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Gail) Haggard, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Drive # 6, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421 or www.alz.org.
