The Baylor track team had a big night Tuesday at Heywood Stadium. Both the boy’s and girl’s squads defeated perennial powerhouse Cookeville. The Lady Red Raiders won 81-47, while the boys were victorious by 66-62.
Aliya Cooper and Brycen Sanders led the charge with two wins each, the 100m & 200m and the shot put & discus respectively. Also winning events were Evie Culbreath 100hurdles, Janie Pippenger 400m, Baker Young 300hurdles, Maris Ebel shot put, and Julia Kaufman in the pole vault.
Event winners for the boys were Evan Haynie (200m), Harrison Williams (300hurdles), Al Peciulis (high jump), and Harrison Dendy (pole vault).
