Jim Bowen
Jim Bowen will talk about his new book and his service in the United States Marine Corps in South Pittsburg on Friday.
He will appear at Beene Pearson Library, 208 Elm Ave., at 2 p.m.
His book, 100 Hurricanes, recounts his growing up in Dayton and in Marion County and his experiences in the Marines in Vietnam.
