USJ 65, Silverdale 55

The Lady Seahawks ended their prolific season just one game shy of the DII State Final Four with their loss at USJ. Miss Basketball finalist Kelsie Johnson led Silverdale with 17 points and Taylor Bledsoe had 13. Haylen Ayers led the Lady Bruins with 18, followed by Lilly Teague with 17 and Sophie King with 14. USJ moves on to Cookeville and the Final Four next week.

The Bearettes blew past McMinn co. in a Region 3-AAAA quarterfinal as Avary Brewer hit half of Bradley’s 12 three-pointers with six from long-range. She ended the game with 18 points. Kimora Fields led the Bearettes with 21, as Harmonie Ware had 17 and TaTianna Stovall 14. Aubrey Gonzalez led the Lady Cherokees with 18.

Carlee Lowry scored a game high 23 points and led the Lady eagles in a romp over Loudon in a Region 3-AAA quarterfinal contest. Ashlynn Rock had 18 for Signal Mountain, while Maddi Hayes led the Lady Redskins with 13.
