John Thomas Simpson, Sr.
On the evening of March 20, 2024, John Thomas Simpson, Sr. was called home to his Heavenly Father at the age of 89.
John was born to Eddie and Addis Simpson on June 30, 1934.
John was employed by the city of Chattanooga retiring after more than 37 years of service.
Those left to cherish his memories are children, Arlene Simpson and Ronald Simpson. brothers, Tommy (Cassandra) Simpson, Robert (Esther) Smith and James (Jean) Smith; a niece, Laverne Wilson; sister, Joyce (Robert) Parker.
John was blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives, family and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at the funeral home.
A 1 p.m. graveside service will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
