Happy Heavenly Birthday, Mother Dear.
Today, we celebrate the beautiful life and legacy of Mary Magdalene Jones, who was born on March 15, 1930, and departed this life on January 27, 2025, at the age of 94, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted and lifelong member of New Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, where Pastor and Lady Terrence Hannah preside, she lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service. As a cherished wife to the late Robert Jones Sr., mother of 11, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she nurtured generations with her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering strength. She was also a beloved aunt, sister, friend, and mother figure to many.
Today, on what would have be her 95th birthday, we honor her memory with love and gratitude.
