Southeastern Trust Company announces the addition of Derek Rende to its team. A multi-family office headquartered in Chattanooga, Southeastern Trust helps families grow, preserve, and transition wealth using expertise in investment management, trust administration and estate planning.

Mr. Rende will act as Southeastern Trust’s business development manager. For the past four years, he has worked with a local independent insurance agency, assisting business owners and individuals with their risk management programs.

Mr. Rende is a Chattanooga native and graduated UTC in 2010. A member of the UTC golf team, he made the All-Southern Conference team all four years at UTC, was the 2007 SoCon Freshman of the Year as well as a two-time All-American Scholar. In 2024, he was elected into the UTC Athletics Hall of Fame.
