The John Sevier Chapter, Tennessee Society Sons of the American Revolution installed new officers for the service cycle 2025 to 2027 at a Walden Club ceremony held Feb. 13 here in Chattanooga.
New officers of the chapter are: Brian Frye, president; Don Chamberlain, first VP; Scott Pryor, second VP; Bryan Beck, sergeant-at-arms; Paul Bobenhausen, registrar; David Queen, treasurer; Cliff Kent, secretary; Charles Dammann, genealogist; Greg Banther, chaplain; and Charley Manker, historian. The new officers were installed by the State Society’s President PZ Horton, who is a member of the Isaac Shelby Chapter located in Memphis.
The installation of new officers ended the annual program which was focused on honoring George Washington’s 293rd Birthday and celebrating his service to the nation as the Continental Army’s commander in chief from June 19, 1775 to Dec.
23, 1783.
The ceremony included the color guard presenting and post of colors, society traditional honors, presentation of service awards and awards for members, ladies and friends who earned recognitions by supporting and participating in the program’s celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the people and events of the American Revolution.
