Viola Manning Griffin, 97, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2004.
She was an active member of Central Baptist Church of Hixson. She was a former Sunday School Teacher at Calvary Baptist Church, Ridgeview Baptist Church and El Bethel Baptist Church, Tampa, FL.
Mrs. Griffin's husband, Curtis F. Griffin Sr. predeceased her.
Survivors include a daughter, Emma Jo Simmons, two sons, Curtis F. Griffin,
Jr. and wife Katherine, Tampa, FL. and Charles G. Griffin and wife Jane,
Springville, AL, special niece, Jewell Scott, Chattanooga, seven
grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Rev. David McNabb will conduct the service on Monday at 1 p.m. in
Central Baptist Church of Hixson, Hope Building Room 222.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 11-1 in the church.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
