Paul Braz, 76, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Friday, November 20, 2009, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Augustine and Mary Braz.

He was a member of St. Martins Episcopal Church.

Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had served in the Korean conflict. He worked in sales and retired from Synthetic Industries. He was a member of Senior Friends and Gold Circle.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Ruth Braz, son and daughter-in-law, Steven P. and Amy Braz, granddaughter, Stephanie M. Braz, all of Chattanooga, two brothers, Augustine Braz, of Beverly Hills, Fl., Raymond Braz, of Somerset, Ma., and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Saint Martin's Episcopal Church, 7547 East Brainerd Road, with The Rev. Gordon C. Temple officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military rites being conducted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
