Boy, 12, Accidentally Shot At Cypress Street Court

A 12-year-old boy was accidentally shot at Cypress Street Court on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

At 3:57 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to 1407 Cyprus Street Court. The victim was transported to a local hospital via a personally-owned vehicle.

He was being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

It was reported to investigators that it was an accidental shooting. The investigation is still ongoing.
