Martha Beene Ledford, 74, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ledford; parents, George M. and Dollie Lee Rhodes Beene; and a brother, Donald Ray Beene.
Mrs. Ledford is survived by her son, Charles Ledford; daughters, Barbara (Shanon) Shaver, Brenda (Jerry) Bell, Connie Johnson and Kathy Watts; brothers, Ed William Beene and George Matthew Beene, Jr.; sister, Wanda Sue Harrison; 13 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CST, on Wednesday, December 19, with Bro. Adam Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m., Monday, December 17, and from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. CST on Tuesday, December 18 at the Tate Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
