Danny Alan Sneed, 39, of Soddy Daisy, died on Tuesday, December 18, 2012.

Danny was a TVA security officer for the past 13 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry E. Sneed; brother, Scott E. Sneed; maternal grandparents, Boyd and Julie Elsea; paternal grandparents, Luke and Mary Sneed, aunts, Judy Luna and Wanda Elsea and stepsister, Tamara Gass.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Lola Randolph of Soddy Daisy; stepbrother, Robert Randoph, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; stepsister, Tanya Newsom of Hixson; Uncles, James Elsea and Willard Elsea, both of Soddy Daisy; aunts, Mary Elsea of San Antonio, Tx., and Joann Scott of Dunlap, Tn.; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Rick Smith officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery with Michael Elsea, Jason, Johnston, Joshua Elsea, Brian Reed, Donald Reed and Ricky Henderson serving as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends from 12-9 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy Daisy.
