Marc Goodman, 42, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 in a Jasper hospital. 

Marc was the grandson of the late Herbert and Idell Henderson and Evey R. Goodman and Grace Goodman. He was a graduate of Cleveland High School and Lee University where he was a member of the Lee Singers. At the time of his death, Marc was employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee with over 16 years of service. He enjoyed Science Fiction including “Doctor Who” and watching “Anime”. He shared this enjoyment with his niece. He also enjoyed hiking, biking and singing. Marc was devoted to his family and he was considered a strong Christian and strong in his faith. He attended the North Shore Fellowship Church and the North Cleveland Church of God.

Survivors include his father and mother, Vern and Pat Goodman of Cleveland, his sister, Marcia Lynn Goodman; his niece, Victoria Lynn Goodman all of Cleveland; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, December 29 at 1 p.m. from the North Cleveland Church of God Dixon Chapel with Rod Parchman, Pastor Mitch Maloney and Dr. Jerome Boone officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Daresta, Jim Goodman, Jeff Hyder, Darrell Buttram, Max Hyder, Jeremy Cain and Kent Callison serving as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29 at the North Cleveland Church of God Dixon Chapel. 

The North Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the arrangements.
