James Edward “Fella” Mathis, Jr., 51, passed away on July 6, 2012 at a Hospice facility.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Mathis; children, Nathaniel, Monique, Danielle and Monica Mathis; sister, Angela Jones and friend, Yolanda Jones.
Services will be held on Friday, July 13, at 1 p.m. at Hawkinsville Baptist Church with Pastor Eyo Efiom officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, July 12, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
