Charleston Company 1 Of 12 Tennessee Companies To Receive Governor's Award Of Excellence

Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner Karla Davis will present 12 Tennessee companies, including Pen Gulf, Inc. in Charleston, with the Governor’s Award of Excellence for Workplace Safety and Health at the closing session of the Tennessee Safety and Health Congress in Nashville. The ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. on Wednesday in the Tennessee Ballroom of the Opryland Resort and Convention Center located at 2800 Opryland Drive in Nashville.

The companies to receive the Commissioner’s Award of Excellence for Workplace safety and Health include:

DTR Tennessee, Inc. – Midway – Neil Gfellers

Firestone Industrial Products – Dyersburg – Angela Smith

Heritage Farms Dairy – Murfreesboro – Michael Mancuso

Pen Gulf, Inc. – Charleston – Chris Shelton
