Meeting On Highway 58 Transportation Enhancement Project Is Jan. 31

The city of Chattanooga is hosting an information meeting Thursday, Jan. 31, on the Highway 58 Transportation Enhancement project.  The meeting will discuss the design and construction of a pocket park, pedestrian facilities as well as streetscapes and landscaping beginning at the intersection of Jersey Pike and Highway 58 to the intersection of Webb Road and Highway 58.  There will be a question and answer session following the informational presentation.  

This project is being constructed to provide connectivity for pedestrians from the residential areas to the businesses along Highway 58 while also providing alternative modes of transportation within the project boundaries.      

The meeting is set for Thursday, Jan. 31, 6 p.m. at Lakeside Academy, 4850 Jersey Pike.
