Donald McCuiston
Donald Roy McCuiston died on October 21, 2013.
Roy worked at Valley Optical Supply for 46 years.
He served in the National Guard. He was a devoted member of the First Alliance Church, and Roy served in the ministry as a Gideon of the North East.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lila Cline McCuiston and Charles Richard McCuiston, brothers, James McCuiston and David McCuiston, sister, Linda McCuiston, and a grandson, Michael Gregory.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Charlene Cole McCuiston, his daughter, Kim (Pete) Williamson, his son, Wesley (Becky) McCuiston, step-mother Mildred McCuiston, brothers, Fred (Wanda) McCuiston, Earl (Marilyn) McCuiston, and Ricky McCuiston. He was the proud grandfather of Nick, Britni, Jessica, CW, Christopher, Nathan, and Daniel, and several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the North East Camp of the Gideon’s International.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the First Alliance Church, 1906 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at First Alliance Church, 1906 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, with Pastor Lee Peters officiating.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
