Judy Mitchell
Judy Ann Mitchell, 75, of Chattanooga died on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at a local hospital.
She was born Sept. 19, 1938, to the late Arthur L. Williams and Mildred Jones Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee E. Mitchell; two sons, Robert Gilbert and Michael Mithcell; daughter, Diane Burson; grandson, Ted Burson; two brothers, Frank Williams and Joe WIlliams; and a sister, Sue Williams.
She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. Mrs. Mitchell worked as a floral designer in the Chattanooga area for many years.
Survivors include her children, Debbie Gilbert, Donnie Gilbert, Vikki Brock, and Tim Mitchell; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brothers, Gene Williams and Jim Jones; sisters, Kay Jones, Sandy Hardin, and Faye Mobley; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Harold Taylor and Randy Harden officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 4-7 p.m.
