Mary Houghton
Mary Hardin Kenyon Houghton, 89, died on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Memorial Hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a graduate of Central High School. She was a member of First Alliance Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.W. and Augusta Armor Hardin; a sister, Cutis Hardin and her husbands, David Palmer Kenyon and Robin Houghton.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Kenyon (Richard) Park; son, David (Donna) Kenyon; sons, David (Kim) Houghton and Daniel (Lee Ann) Houghton; daughters, Mary Jo (Andy) Gillham and Nancy Houghton; a grandson, David Kenyon III; many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
Mary lived gently and died gently and for that her family is very grateful.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412.
