Mary Elizabeth Tsatoke-Jones, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was born at the Kiowa Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma on January 25, 1934, to the late Rev.Cecil Arthur Huntinghorse Tsatoke and mother Jennie Haumpy-Tsatoke, who loved her dearly.  Mary died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at the age of 79 years. 

She was a former member of Cache Creek United Methodist Church in Carnegie, Ok., and currently a member of Washington Hills United Methodist Church in Chattanooga. 

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Tsatoke-Bread, Dorothy Tsatoke-Gray, Stella Tsatoke- Rivera, one brother, Rev. John Tsatoke and two grandchildren, Adam Thompson and Jessica Cheek. 

Mary is survived by her husband, Lee Norris Jones, of 41 years, one sister, Vivian Komardley of Apache, Ok., three daughters, Beverly Bunton and husband Dallas of Chattanooga, Ramona “Tweet” Cheek and husband Michael of Graham, N.C., and Beki Davis of Victorville, Ca. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Dallas Bunton, Jr., Dawn “Renee” Bunton, Dusty Vigil, Darin Bunton, Jason Cheek and Tina Asevedo,and further survived by 19 great-grandchildren, Dallas Bunton III, Kenny Bunton, Joseph Bunton, Dustin Bunton, Kaleb Bunton, Bryson Bunton, Naomi Bunton, Jasmine Bunton, Brayden Hilton, Adison Hilton, Maria Vigil, Kaia Bunton, Taylor Cheek, Raygan Cheek, Ryker Thompson, Kayla Manier, Jeffrey Manier, Jacob Manier and Johnnie Asevedo and many nieces, nephews and foster children.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, at Comanche Nation Funeral Home, 2701 SW J Street, Lawton, Ok. Officiating will be by Reverend Marilyn Bread, nephew, Reverend Monroe Tsatoke will give the family message

Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343 with Reverend Bobby Black officiating.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Mary’s name to Family Home & Hospice Care 175 24th Street, Cleveland, Tn. 37311.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
