Melessa “Lesa” Mitchell Tate, 48, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013.
Lesa was a registered Dental Hygienist and of the Baptist Faith. She was born in Dunlap on November 29, 1964 to Gary and Peggy Faulkner Mitchell who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Tate; daughters, Lindsey (Chris) Dalton, Sara Tate and Emily Tate; brothers, Dusty (Jennifer) Mitchell and Shane (Angie) Mitchell both of Dunlap; and grandchildren, Jade and Ava Dalton.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Monday, February 18 in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Minister David Grisham officiating. Private burial will be held on Tuesday, February 19 at Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens, Dunlap.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 18 from 3-8 p.m. at the Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, who has charge of the arrangements.
