George Ball
George William Ball, Sr., 73, died on February 19, 2013.
He was a native of Chattanooga, and a graduate of the Howard High School, class of 1959.
He retired from the Mueller Company after 37 years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife, Johnetta Ball; daughter, Rachel (Eric) Thomas; son, George Ball, Jr.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Ball; brothers, William Miller and Clifford Ball; two aunts, two uncles, host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Feb. 25, in the chapel with Pastor Ezra Maize officiating and Pastor Leslie Lewis as eulogist. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Sunday, and the family will receive friends from 5–6 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
