Attorney Patrick Bobo said he is leaving the city attorney's office to go to work for the Lamp Post Group and the Access America trucking firm as contracts administrator.
Attorney Bobo has worked with the city beer board and transportation board as well as in City Court.
He made a final appearance before the City Council on Tuesday.
