Justice?

I am having trouble reconciling the "punishment" for the Hamilton County police officer who admitted giving alcohol to minors. Particularly since this officer was supposed to be a mentor in the Explorer program.

Any regular citizen would have been arrested with possible jail time. This officer keeps his job (albeit with a demotion), has no arrest on his record, and now everything is fine.

Sheriff Hammond should understand that his officers are to be held to a higher standard than other citizens, NOT a lower standard.
