Covenant Earns At-Large Bid To NCCAA World Series

After three straight seasons of coming so close, the Covenant baseball team has finally reached the NCCAA World Series. The Scots have been selected as an at-large team to participate in the World Series that begins Wednesday, May 15 in Mason, Ohio at Prasco Park.

This will mark the first time in school history that the baseball team will compete at the World Series.

Covenant (28-15) placed third in the tough Mid-East Region this past week.

The Scots had been ranked in the NCCAA Top 10 for most of the season.

World Series play is setup with pool play then the top two teams from both pools advance to a single elimination round to determine the NCCAA Division I Baseball champion.
