Eileen L. Trippler, 95, of East Ridge, died on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

Eileen was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.  She retired from Roseville Public Schools as a school teacher and was a member of Moriah Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Trippler; daughters, Diane Phillips and Trudy Daffron; parents, Margaret and Arthur Boyden, Sr.; and brother, Arthur Boyden, Jr.

Surviving are her daughters, Penny Gray-Davis and husband, Richard and Beth DeCook; grandchildren, Teri Daffron, Robert (Steph) Harper, Lee (Mattie) Gray, Jennifer (Dave) Gadsby and Jack (Anita) Harper; 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.  There will not be any visitation prior to the burial.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
