“Trey” Cook, 28, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at his home.
A 2003 graduate of South Pittsburg High School, he was an employee of Walker Oil Company.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty & Holman “Jerry” Walker, Jr. and Thurman Cook; aunt, Wendy Walker; and uncle, Holman J. “Trey” Walker III.
He is survived by his father, Frank (Sheila) Cook of Jasper; mother, Kim (Bennie) Lappin of South Pittsburg; sister, Farrah (Mike) Brown of Birmingham; grandmother, Sue Cook of Oneonta, AL; stepsister, Rebecca Yates of Estill Springs, TN; stepbrother, Matt Lappin of Cowan, TN; nephews, Will and Thomas Brown and Aiden Yates; niece, Ava Yates; several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Monday, July 29, at 2 p.m. CT with Reverend Brad Bridgman officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, from 4-8 p.m. CT at the funeral home.
