Chattanooga State Offers Nursing And Allied Health Information Sessions In August

The Division of Nursing and Allied Health at Chattanooga State Community College will present a series of information sessions during the month of August for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. Topics of discussion will include the application process, admission requirements, the selection process, curriculum details, licensing and credentialing examinations, career opportunities and more. All of the information sessions will be held in the Health Science Center (HSC) on the main campus.

On Aug. 6, information sessions for the registered nursing program are scheduled for 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the first floor of the HSC in room 1083. Each session is approximately two hours long. Reservations are not required. Attendance is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory for admission into the program.  The deadline to apply to the nursing program is March 15, 2014. The nursing transition program deadline is Jan. 15, 2014.
