The Cumberland County grand jury handed down indictments on Friday against the individuals police say are responsible for the Cumberland County quadruple murder last week. The indictments came after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and the 13th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office conducted the investigation and presented the evidence to a special session of the grand jury.

Jacob Allen Bennett, 26, of Crab Orchard, Tn. was indicted on four counts of pre-meditated murder, four counts of felony murder and two counts of attempted aggravated robbery. He has remained in custody at the Cumberland County Jail since the day after the murders when he was arrested in Rhea County for violating his probation.

Bennett’s girlfriend, Brittany Lina Yvonn Moser, 25, of Dayton, Tn., who police said was with him at the time of the murders, was indicted on four counts of felony murder and two counts of attempted aggravated robbery.

The four victims, Rikki Danielle Jacobsen, 22, Domonic Lewis Davis, 17, Steven Michael Presley, 17, and Jonathan Raymond Lajeunesse, 16, were found shot to death in Ms. Jacobsen’s vehicle on a road on Renegade Mountain on Sept. 12. The two counts of attempted aggravated robbery stem from Bennett and Ms. Moser attempting to rob Ms. Jacobsen and Mr. Davis during a marijuana exchange, it was stated.

Ms. Moser was arrested Friday morning at her residence at 1872 Railroad Street in Dayton and will be booked into the Cumberland County Jail. The two were to be arraigned in court on Friday morning.

The TBI, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, and the 13th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office would like to thank the Rhea County Sheriff’s Office, the Dayton Police Department and the U.S. Marshal’s Service for their assistance in this investigation, it was stated.
