Accident On Highway 27 Sends 1 Person To The Hospital

A single vehicle traffic crash was reported to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office earlier Tuesday evening at approximately 6:50 p.m. that occurred in the 1160 block of Highway 27.  

Traffic investigators found that the vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 27, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway and traveled in the median before hitting a rise, causing the car to go airborne.  

The vehicle, a Nissan Cube, landed in the 6200 block of Levi Road.  

The driver was transported to an area hospital and the extent of her injuries are unknown.

Information will be released as it becomes available.
