Larry McCullough
Larry "Pee Wee" McCullough, 61, of Chattanooga, died on September 3, 2013 at a local hospital.
He was born in Chattanooga to the union of Willard and Eunice (McCullough) Jones on July 22, 1952.
He was a graduate of Howard High School, Class of 1970, Virginia College, 2008, and ITT Technical College, 2011. He served in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed at Shreveport, LA. He retired from the Hamilton County Juvenile System.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Jones; sister, Willie Rose Jones; nephew, James Jones, Jr.; aunt, Dorothy M. McCullough.
Mr. McCullough is survived by his loving parents, Willard and Eunice Jones; loving son, Larry LaTron McCullough; one grandson, Larry LaTron McCullough, Jr.; two granddaughters, Kamari McCullough and Amya Collins; sister, Mary Sparks; four brothers, Willard (Linda) Ronnie (Carmen), Carl (Loretta) McCullough, and James (Maxine) Jones, Sr., all of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Rosemary Readus; nephews and nieces, Michelle, Britni, Candy, Warren, Brandall, Antario, Ronnie, JR. and Alex; special friend, Kara Booker and her daughter, Samariah Booker, and a host of other relatives and friends.
His body will lie in state on Friday, Sept. 6, from 12-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Viewing and family hour will continue at Greater Friendship Baptist Church from 6-7 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Greater Friendship Baptist Church with Elder James Penney officiating.
Interment will take place on Monday, Sept. 9, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
