Iona“Tonie” Marie Rudasill Schenck
Iona“Tonie” Marie Rudasill Schenck, 93, of Harrison, Tennessee, passed away, Monday, September 29, 2014, at her home.
Tonie loved life and was always a happy, active, lovely woman.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Susan Rudasill and was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Schenck, daughter, Susan Moore, and 14 siblings.
She was a veteran of the U S Army Air Corp., and a member of Hickory Valley Christian Church.
Survivors include two children, Dale (Kathy) Schenck, of Harrison, Tenn., Judy (Dave) Cooper, of Ormond Beach, Fla., five grandchildren, Robert (Tracey) Moore, of Clarksville, Tenn., Lynn Kropp, of Harrison, Tenn., Nancy (Wes) Simmons, of Auburn, Ala., Holly Ross, of Knoxville, Tenn., John Schenck, of Chattanooga, Tenn., five great grandchildren, Robert, Clarissa, Emily, Kate, Kaelyn, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2014, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Justice officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
