Main St. Mixer is a social event designed for professionals centered around local food and music. It will be held Oct. 23 from 7-10 p.m. at Urban Lawn. Admission is $30 and includes one signature drink and hors d'oeuvres.
The purpose is to bring together professionals from different backgrounds through a social event that allows them to network or simply have a great time, said organizers. The goal is to create an environment that serves a dual purpose and lends itself to professionals seeking to expand their network or looking to have a good time with like-minded people.
The musical guests are American Idol contestant Jermaine Purifory and TSJ Band accompanied by the Chattanooga Symphony’s String Quintet.
The organizers of Main St. Mixer are committed to the economic development in areas of Chattanooga that lack resources and opportunities. There are entrepreneurs and business owners throughout the city of Chattanooga that need access to resources and opportunities. Therefore, a portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Launch Chattanooga.
Launch Chattanooga provides training, mentoring and additional resources to neighborhoods and communities.
