The Friends Of The Chattanooga Public Library Announce The Fall Book Sale

On Nov. 8-18 the book sale for the Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library will take place at Eastgate Town Center.

The sale hours are Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.6-p.m.. Sunday hours are noon-6 p.m. 

Half day price sale will take place on Monday Nov. 17. Special books and collections are priced separately. The bag day sale will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 18. 

There will be a special preview and pre-sale for Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library Members only on Nov.

7 from  5-7 p.m.  Light refreshments will be served for this event. 

Memberships for the Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library can be purchased at the door the night of Nov. 7. During this pre-sale there will be no electronic scanning devices allowed.

Sale prices for the books are as follows: adult hardback books $2 each; adult paperback books $1 each; children/youth hardback books $1 each; and children/youth paperback books $1 each.  Also available are records, DVD's and CD's.

The book sale is a major source of funding for the Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library to support library programs.
