Virginia Louise “Ginger” Bain, 57, of Cleveland, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at a local hospital.
She was born in Cleveland on April 26, 1957 to Verbon Burgess and the late Ginny Burgess. Ginger was of the Christian faith. She was a CNA and was currently working at Skyridge Medical Center where she had been employed for the past thirteen plus years. Ginger loved her family and spending time with them. She especially loved her four grandchildren; they were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Ann “Ginny” Cline Burgess.
Ginger is survived by her father, Verbon Richard Burgess; two daughters, Jessica George and her husband Jonathan and Sarah Bain; four grandchildren, Riley George, Abigale, Madison and Blake Carroll; one sister, Barbara Ownby (Doyle); three brothers, Wayne Burgess (Susan), Reed Burgess and Clay Burgess (Bobbie Ross); very special aunt, Bobbie Sue Miller; and numerous other extended family members, coworkers and special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Monday, October 20 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Herbert Connelly officiating.
The interment and graveside service will take place on Tuesday, October 21 at 10 a.m. in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 20 in the chapel from 4-7 p.m.
