I would like to make a simple request to the city of Chattanooga. Since we are the GIG City, and the world has us in their sights, I would simply like to ask if we could do something about the traffic lights.
If we can control so much with the internet and all our computer control, why can’t we get the traffic light timing to move better. Every city has a flow and ours seems out of touch with that. My guess is the timing and randomness of them makes for all kinds of problems of just moving through town.
Please, if we can be the GIG City for the world to watch, maybe they can come and visit and be able to see the city and not stop at empty intersections just because the lights are out of touch with the rest of the city.
