Colleen Dawson
Colleen Scoles Dawson, 53, of Rossville, died on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer.
She was the owner of Stop-N-Shop in East Ridge and Rossville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dawson, Sr.; her parents, Lloyd and Alice Scoles.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry and Albert Dawson; grandchildren, Olivia, Daisy and Jerry Dawson, five brothers, twin sister, Colette Scoles, who was her caregiver, along with nieces, Karie and Martina. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Chaplain Marv Eskew, Life Choice Hospice officiating.
