Charlene Frizzell Hooks, 73, of Red Bank, died on Sunday, October 26, 2014.

She lived most of her life in the Chattanooga area. Charlene retired from the Walmart in Hixson. She was of the Baptist faith. Charlene loved to play bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Hooks, Sr. and her parents, Joseph and Nina Frizzell. 

Survivors include her children, Billy Joe Hooks, Jr. (Lori), Steve Hooks (Shari), Ron Hooks (Darlene) and Kim Six; sister, Jean Hooks (Robert); ex–sister-in-law, Joann Hooks; grandchildren, Alisha Lokietz, Brandon Hooks, Jessica Sorren, Trisha Sorren, Daniel Hooks, Amy Finlayson, Amber Shalhoup, Cameron Hooks, Christopher Hooks, Cody Hooks and Robert “Bubby” Six; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her best friend, Wanda Morris. 

Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ronald May officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

Visitation will be on Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-9 p.m. at the funeral home
