Ooltewah High School’s kicker, Laszlo Toser III, has been selected a candidate for Kohl’s National Player of the Week.  Toser is competing with three other candidates for this prestigious title, he is the only candidate from Tennessee.

If you think Laszlo Toser III deserves to win and want to support our local player go place your vote at Kohl’s website: http://www.kohlsnews.com/news/vote-now-national-player-week-oct-6.

Toser was named a candidate by Kohl’s for his impressive performance in last Friday night’s game against Bradley County in which he crushed a 52 yard field goal breaking Ooltewah’s High School record (with plenty of room to spare), he had 7 kickoffs each 70-75 yards resulting in a touchbacks, and hit 5 out of 5 PAT’s.

Toser’s performance last weekend is just the beginning of his list of accomplishments.  So far this year, he has won the Chris Sailor Las Vegas Kicking Camp, and named one of Chris Sailor’s Elite 12 kickers.

He finished in the top three at The University of Florida’s kicking camp, was the overall Champion at Miami, Kickoff Champion at University of SC, and Field Goal finalist at Rutgers, University of Virginia and Mercer.

He is currently ranked by James Wilhoit Kicking as the #1 field goal kicker in the State of Tennessee, and is ranked 32nd in the country by Chris Sailor Kicking, 69th by Kohl’s Kicking.
