Final Week To Nominate Your Best Volunteer For The 2014 Governors Volunteer Stars Awards

County Mayor Jim Coppinger invites area agencies and residents to nominate individuals who give of their time and talents through volunteer service.  A committee will select one youth recipient and one adult recipient to represent Hamilton County at the Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards ceremony in Nashville in spring, 2015. 

Mayor Coppinger says, “Those who benefit from volunteer service understand its value as a true gift from the heart. Please consider nominating someone you consider deserving of this prestigious recognition award.”  

Organizations may submit one youth and/or one adult nominee using approved forms.
 Deadline for submissions is Friday.   Winners and the person who nominated them will be notified in December.
