Daniel Howard Bailey, 63, of Flintstone, died on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was a member of Wallaceville Baptist Church. Daniel served his country in the U.S. Army for 16 years. He was a loving father, son and brother who will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bethel Ernest Bailey and brother, Ernest Bailey.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Anna Bailey; children, Master Sgt. John D. Bailey, William Bailey, and Christopher Bailey; brothers, Dennis Bailey, Mike Bailey and Daryl Bailey; seven grandchildren; natural mother, Virginia Stoker; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday and prior to the service on Friday.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.
