World Record Event Tugging T-28 Aircraft From Hixson To Rome Wednesday Evening

The Museum of Flight will be tugging the T-28 from Hixson to Rome, Ga. on Wednesday evening at 10 p.m.

This aircraft based at Dallas Bay Skypark in the Chattanooga area has been seen at such places as Riverbend, the Armed Forces Day Parade, and Camp Jordan, among others.  

This event is a Guinness Book of World Records event due to the distance being tugged and that it is being moved on its own landing gear The aircraft is being taken to Rome as part of the Rome Symphony concert being held in a WWII hangar at the Rome airport.
