Paul Farner, 78, of Rocky Face, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. and Laura B. Farner; sisters, Mildred Bates, Onibee Ledford, Louise Cheatham, Aligibee Farner and Veda Dockery; and brothers, Leslie, Wesley and Johnny Farner.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Padgett Farner of the residence; daughter, Sandra Ann Farner Postelle of Rocky Face; sister, Mary Hamby of Tellico Plains, TN; brothers, R.L. Farner of Dalton and Fred Farner of Maryville, TN; and a grandson, Adam Duane Postelle of Rocky Face.
The funeral service for Mr. Farner will be held Saturday, December 20, at 11 a.m. at Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Guffey, Rev. Robert Beavers and Rev. Chuck Clark officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at Turtletown, TN.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 19 from 5-9 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
