Hazel Louise Gamble, 85, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Gamble; parents, Martin & Letha Petty; and brothers, Howard and Bit Petty.
She was a member of Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Sandra & Dale Dietrich of New Matamoras, OH; step-children, Carolyn & Jeff Wilson of Dalton, Sabrina & James Duckett of Dalton, Carolyn & Tim Hamberg of SC, Linda & Jerry Barnette of AL, Bill & Edwina Gamble of Al and David Gamble of AL; sister & brother-in-law, Sue & Bill Edwards of Dalton; brother, Robert Petty of Calhoun; grandchildren, Angela & Bill Ruark and Danielle & Ted Reisman; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Paul and Joshua Ruark, Toria Reisman and Katrina Morris .
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 27, at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Guffey and Rev. Robert Beavers officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Bill Ruark, Matthew Ruark, Paul Ruark, Joshua Ruark, Dale Dietrich and Dewayne Edwards.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, December 26 from 6-9 p.m.
