The Dalton State basketball team sees plenty of home action over a couple of weeks.

Mashburn Arena at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center will be the scene of the first two home Southern States Athletic Conference home contests this coming weekend.

The Roadrunners (10-2 overall, 2-1 SSAC) will host the University of Mobile (Ala) Friday night at 7:30.  The visiting Rams (4-6, 0-2 SSAC) first have a Monday night game in New Orleans against Concordia of NO.

Belhaven University (4-10, 0-2) from Jackson (Miss) will invade Mashburn Arena Saturday at 5:00 p.m. The Blazers will play powerful Martin Methodist Friday night in Pulaski (TN).

Life University, from Marietta, will visit on Tuesday, January 6th. The Running Eagles (9-4, 3-1) took the Roadrunners to overtime before falling, 99-96, back on November 10th

Life has been off since a 112-79 win over Carver Bible College on December 16th. They are a member of the NAIA’s Mid-South Conference, the same conference as the University of the Cumberlands (KY) and Cumberland University (Tenn).

On Friday, January 9th, Dalton State will host conference opponent Auburn Montgomery. Tip-off will be at 7:30 p.m.

The Warhawks (5-6, 1-3 SSAC) will have four games before that. They travel to Samford University in Birmingham on Monday (12/30) and West Alabama in Livingston on Thursday (1/1). AUM returns home to host Loyola of New Orleans in a conference game on Saturday (1/3) and Huntingdon College from Montgomery on Tuesday (1/6).
