Frances Catron
Frances J. Turner Catron, 92, formerly of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, died Saturday evening in Smyrna, TN.
She was the daughter of the late Ernest Martin and Edna Orr Jones. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Chandler "Slim" Turner and her second husband, Marvin M. Catron.
She was a member of Cane Ridge Presbyterian Church of Cane Ridge, Tn. after being a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Soddy-Daisy, TN, Ladies of the Elks Lodge #91, Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W., #1289 and N.A.R.F.E. Chapter #108.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Kathy Turner, Chapel Hill, TN; two grandchildren, Kevin Turner, Louisville, KY and Melissa Turner Archibald and her husband Jesse ; two great-grandchildren, Madilyn and Benjamin Archibald and a daughter, Patricia Ann Turner of Deland, Fl.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, in Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153.
